Carrot Cake at Le Loir Dans La Théière, Paris
A few years ago the search for brunch in Paris would have rendered few results. While this New York and Californian trend is finally making its way over the pond, Le Loir Dans La Théière remains a must-visit on my Paris Tr+Eats list.
Packed with anyone and everyone: hipsters, youngsters, families, singles, couples. Add to that an eclectic array of furniture, poster covered walls, non stop bustle, mile high Lemon Meringue tart, guests queuing out the door... get the idea? Brunch was our need at the time, but I imagine this cosy yet clearly 'happening' environment would lend itself perfectly to breakfast, lunch or tea, (not to worry things do quieten down in off-peak hours).
Hope you enjoy this funky little joint nestled in the Marais as much as we did.
